Interrupt the Pressure
Make a rule that an unexpected investment request gets a second conversation through a trusted channel. A deadline is not evidence. Preserve the original messages, website address and payment instructions without sending additional money or identity documents.
Check the Claim, Not the Story
Find the legal entity and offering documents. Verify the professional independently. Ask what specific evidence supports returns, custody and withdrawal claims. Logos, screenshots and a group chat full of apparent testimonials can all be copied or staged.
Respond to a Suspected Problem
Contact your financial institution promptly using its official channel and explain what happened. Preserve records. Use regulator complaint resources where relevant. Be cautious of anyone demanding an advance fee to recover losses; recovery promises can themselves be a second scam.
